These latest timepieces continue to uphold the collection's reputation as a distinguished luxury sports watch, distinguished by its seamlessly integrated bracelet, a fluted bezel adorned with eight meticulously aligned screws, and a dial texture reminiscent of an eagle's eye. Crafted from Chopard's innovative Lucent Steel, these watches not only offer exceptional durability and a brilliant sheen but also contribute to environmental efforts through the Alpine Eagle Foundation.

Details of the Chopard Alpine Eagle Rhone Blue Edition

The Chopard Alpine Eagle, first launched in 2019, draws its design inspiration from the 1980s St. Moritz model, Chopard's pioneering steel sports watch. This heritage is evident in the integrated bracelet with polished central links, the distinctive bezel screws, and the elegant tonneau-shaped case. The new 36mm and 41mm versions retain these signature elements, now enhanced by the captivating Rhone Blue dial. This unique shade of blue is inspired by the Rhône River's high-altitude origins, specifically the grayish-blue hue it acquires from glacial sediment in the Swiss Alps. Both models are encased in Lucent Steel, a proprietary alloy comprising 80% recycled steel, known for its exceptional hardness and gold-like brilliance. The cases measure 41mm x 9.75mm and 36mm x 8.45mm respectively, featuring vertically brushed surfaces and polished chamfers, along with a screw-down crown engraved with a compass rose, ensuring 100-meter water resistance. The rhodium-plated indices, a blend of Roman numerals and baton markers, along with the hour and minute hands, are coated with Super-LumiNova for enhanced legibility. A subtle yet elegant detail is the eagle feather counterweight on the central seconds hand. The 41mm model includes a date window positioned at 4:30 against a grey background, a feature absent in the more compact 36mm version. Powering these exquisite timepieces are in-house COSC chronometer-certified automatic movements. The 41mm model houses the 01.01-C calibre, offering a 60-hour power reserve, while the 36mm model is equipped with the 09.01-C calibre, providing a 42-hour power reserve.

These new Chopard Alpine Eagle timepieces, with their compelling Rhone Blue dials, transcend mere horological artistry. They serve as a poignant reminder of the profound connection between human innovation and the majesty of the natural world. Each watch, with its meticulous design and commitment to environmental stewardship through the Alpine Eagle Foundation, encourages us to reflect on our responsibility to preserve the delicate ecosystems that inspire such beauty. This blend of luxury, precision, and purpose offers a refreshing perspective on the role of fine watchmaking in a conscious world.
